Rust Bubbles (Full Scheme)

A 10 point symmetry iterative density drawing using a custom 4px outline brush. That all started with a bit of blue. Here are the color isolates.

This piece took a total of 22 hours to complete. The focus was on using circles and ellipses to fill significant regions of the canvas, before deformations of the circle were used to tie the space together. The Scarlet color was added next where large coiled curves detailed the interior of the bubbles, white following to return focus to circle work. The fibrous rust detailing from whence the piece gets its name and some touch-ups to the blue and scarlet layers finished out this piece.

The modularity of this piece was very much a success, almost all the isolate combos resulted in pieces that can stand alone (at least in my opinion). Even the color isolates pictured a bit further up are quite pleasant here. I have gone ahead and provided some of my favorites of the 10 possible combinations (not counting the isolates or the full scheme) below.
